Extra Curricular Activities: Let’s Brainstorm

“ECA” or “extracurricular activity” or we can say that “extra academic activity

In simple words let’s learn something and getting involved with the fun and produce the good out of it. Now a day’s most of the students are capable of doing some extra stuff in a class and they manage to score good marks and get promoted to next class. But the question arises only good marks are important for the overall development of a child?
I don’t think so, good marks will help in overall development because if someone is up to the mark in studies and able to manage the highest score in exams but can’t speak properly means weak in communication then student is not fully developed and will definitely face hurdles in future especially while appearing for the higher studies selection or campus interviews.
Exams are just part of knowledge, overall development means students must be up to the mark both physically and mentally. It can only be possible with ECA- Extracurricularactivities which help in overall development of a child.  In today’s highly competitive era ECA build the overall personality of a child and help them to achieve something remarkable in future.
How to do?
Mostly extracurricular activities must be encouraged by the teachers in schools like Debate, competitions, Group discussions. Basically, it’s not always about the win in those activities sometimes it’s about the learning which will help them to learn for future.  Students must participate in paper writing, essay competition so that they can have the good command on grammars. “Participation is much more important than winning”.
Participation in sports, quiz, singing, dancing is equally important for the mindset. In simple words it’s all about the brainstorm and research for the skill set and then simply starts doing the activities.
“Let’s get started with new activities and broaden our minds”
